The Calcutta auction will take place on Saturday evening AFTER the conclusion of round 1, roughly 6–7 pm. If you played your way out of contention on Saturday, the Calcutta is your chance to still win good money by playing well on Sunday, or purchasing a team you expect to play well. The field will be divided into 4 flights (Championship, 1st, 2nd, & 3rd). There will be a separate Calcutta payout pool for each flight. Payouts go to the owners of the top 3 teams in each flight. Calcutta placement is based on SUNDAY SCORE ONLY.
Payout Percentages
Each flight has its own separate pool. 10% of each flight's total is donated to local schools. The remaining 90% is paid out to the top 3 teams in that flight:
Example: Championship $4,000 · 1st $2,500 · 2nd $2,000 · 3rd $1,500 (total pot: $10,000, total donation: $1,000)

Bidding
We will host the Calcutta auction in the cart staging area where you can make a circle with golf carts and/or chairs, still having access to the clubhouse for food and drinks.
All teams will be bid upon, with each team's bid contributing to that team's flight pool. Bidding begins at $100 per Team. Any team not owned at the conclusion of bidding will be put into a "field bet" and auctioned off to the highest bidder. The auctioneer will set bidding increments, with a minimum of $50. At the conclusion of the Calcutta, each flight's total will be announced and payouts posted at the golf course.
If you DID NOT win your team, you may purchase up to 50% of your team from the owner. "field bet" teams ARE NOT allowed to purchase up to 50% of their own team. If you own a team, you are responsible for paying the full amount prior to teeing off on Sunday. We pay the owner, who then distributes funds to any partial owners.
Calcutta Payments
All Calcutta payments MUST be made Saturday night. We will not accept payment on Sunday.
A Calcutta transaction table will be set up by the clubhouse Saturday evening where you can:
- Pay for the Team(s) you purchased.
- Be provided notice of who purchased your Team and provide contact information.
- Calcutta auction results will be available on our website at the conclusion of the auction.
Buy-back payment must be coordinated with the purchaser prior to that team heading out Sunday. Cash or Card accepted — CASH preferred. Calcutta bet sheets will be printed for the auction on Saturday.
